Rock Oyster is Douglas Laing’s blended malt made from whiskies from the Islands, specifically Jura, Islay, Arran and Orkney. Giving off rich, smoky with coastal qualities on the palate.

Introduced to Douglas Laing’s range in early 2015. Rock Oyster is made with single malts distilled on the islands from Orkney, Arran, Jura and Islay. Resulting in a magnificent maritime dram and by the sip of it, wine enthusiasts will be taken to the coasts.
Nose: Wind-swept beaches, coastal peat and a hint of ash, complemented by touches of green fruit.
Palate: Yet more sea breeze, with oatcake crumbs, growing spicy notes of cracked black pepper and a deft whiff of peat smoke. Hints of vanilla here and there.
Finish: Salinity lasts on the finish along with peppery warmth.
