A cherry red color, suggestive of a vibrant Tempranillo wine. On the nose, it’s rich aromas have a pronounced intensity with an initial scent of ripe red fruit followed by gentle sweet notes of vanilla and spices. On the palate, it is perfumed, soft and fresh with a long finish with notes of fruits, vanilla and cocoa.
The most vibrant expression of Tempranillo. Campo Viejo Tempranillo is a red wine produced by the Campo Viejo winery in the D.O La Rioja, 100% Tempranillo. The winemaking process for Campo Viejo Tempranillo is carried out following traditional methods, drawing on the La Rioja regions decades of experiences in viticulture. Firstly the grapes undergo the process of destemming. Following this, the grapes are pressed and crushed, which obtains the must. Campo Viejo Tempranillo then undergoes fermentation at a controlled temperature, before being bottled and placed onto the market.
