Chateau Lamothe-Vincent is composed of 2 main areas, one lying at Montignac, the other at Castevieil, both in the Entre-Deux-Mers.
The grape varieties for this wine are 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet-Sauvignon. Production is 160,000 bottles. The wine is black colour with crimson tints. Brimming with black fruit flavours (cherry and berry), and red fruits (cassis, crushed strawberry) and liquorice.
Full-bodied with spice toast on the palate, mouth-filling with ripe tannins on the long finish. 2011 : “ This is a charming wine, with really good fruiting, plump for the vintage, plenty of pleasure.”
