The Harvest from The Irishman whiskey range is built using a recipe of 70% single malt and 30% single pot still whiskeys, all made with Irish barley and all triple distilled. It’s matured in American oak bourbon barrels, making for a flavour profile packed full of vanilla and creamy fruit notes. It was previously known as Founder’s Reserve, but the new name was chosen to honour Irish agriculture and distilling.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Nectarine, honeydew melon, buttered brown bread.
Palate: Custard cream biscuits dunked in tea, cinnamon sticks, peppercorn, and lemon cheesecake.
Finish: More biscuit notes, with a touch of anise.
