Moët & Chandon’s 2015 Vintage Champagne release of this prestigious wine – each release is the Cellar Master’s personal interpretation of the year. A Champagne marked by a late harvest, the 2015-vintage encapsulates the year’s waiting and anticipation, balancing summery, fruity aromas with autumnal undertones and a golden hue. Moët Grand Vintage 2015 is made with 44% of Pinot Noir, 32% of Chardonnay and 24% of Meunier.

Tasting Note

Nose

The nose opens with subtle restraint, hinting at a fresh white-green profile. Initial notes of breadcrumbs, brioche, and almond paste lead to elderflower, jasmine, and fruits like white peach and watermelon, with garrigue notes at the finish.

Palate

The attack on the palate is direct and confident, with a generous, supple structure reminiscent of cotton flowers. Its enveloping texture is accompanied by floral, aniseed, and menthol notes, adding lightness and freshness to this sun-drenched vintage.

Finish 

The finish lingers on a slightly sappy note, with a delicate bitterness reminiscent of fresh almonds.
